Prophet Muhammad's Last Sermon

Prophet Muhammad's Last Sermon
Date delivered: 632 A.C., 9th day of Dhul al Hijjah, 10 A.H. in the 'Uranah valley of Mount Arafat.

Assalamualaikum.

The last sermon of the Prophet-peace be upon him- is known as Khutbatul Wada'. It is mentioned in almost all books of Hadith. Following Ahadith in Sahih Al-Bukhari refer to the sermon and quote part of it. See Al-Bukhari, Hadith 1623, 1626, 6361) Sahih of Imam Muslim also refers to this sermon in Hadith number 98. Imam al-Tirmidhi has mentioned this sermon in Hadith nos. 1628, 2046, 2085. Imam Ahmed bin Hanbal has given us the longest and perhaps the most complete version of this sermon in his Masnud, Hadith no. 19774.

This Khutbah of the Prophet-peace be upon him- was long and it contained much guidance and instructions on many issues. The Prophet-peace be upon him- gave this sermon in front of a large gathering of people during Hajj.

Whosoever heard whatever part of the sermon reported it and later some scholars put it together. It is a great khutbah and we should all pay attention to its message and guidance. Following are the basic points mentioned in this khutbah:

After praising and thanking God, he said;

O People

Lend me an attentive ear, for I know not whether after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefor listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and take these words to those who could not be present here today.

O People
Just as you regard this month, this day, this city as sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your Lord, and that He will indeed reckon your deeds. Allah has forbidden you to take usury (interest); therefore all interest obligation shall henceforth be waived. Your capital, however, is yours to keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer any inequity.

Allah has Judged that there shall be no interest and that all interest due to Abbas Ibn ‘Abd al Muttalib (the Prophet's uncle) shall henceforth be waived.

Beware of Satan for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.

O People
It is true that you have certain rights in regard to your women, but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives, only under Allah's trust and with His permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat you women well and be kind to them, for they are your partners and committed helpers. And it is your right that they do not make friends with anyone of whom you do not approve, as well as never to be unchaste.

O People
Listen to me in earnest, worship Allah, say your five daily prayers (Salah), fast during the month of Ramadan, and give your wealth in Zakat.

Perform Hajj if you can afford to.

All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black, nor a black has any superiority over a white- except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim, which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not therefor, do injustice to yourselves.

Remember one day you will appear before Allah and answer for your deeds. So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone. People, no prophet or apostle will come after me and no new faith will be born. Reason well therefore, O people, and understand words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the Quran and the Sunnah (Hadith), and if you follow these you will never go astray. All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listened to me directly. Be my witness, O Allah, that I have conveyed your message to your people."

*The Qur'an: Revealed to Prophet Muhammad during the period from 610-632 AC. The first five verses revealed are: (1) Read in the name of your Lord, Who created. (2) Created man out of a clot that clings (in the womb). (3) Read and your Lord is the Most Bountiful. (4) Who taught by the pen. (5) Taught man that which he knew not.

The Moon Splitting

Assalamualaikum.

Al-Qamar
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The Hour has drawn near, and the moon has been cleft asunder (the people of Makkah requested Prophet Muhammad SAW to show them a miracle, so he showed them the splitting of the moon).[] (1) And if they see a sign, they turn away, and say: "This is continuous magic." (2) They belied (the Verses of Allâh, this Qur'ân), and followed their own lusts. And every matter will be settled [according to the kind of deeds (good deeds will take their doers to Paradise, and similarly evil deeds will take their doers to Hell)]. (3) And indeed there has come to them news (in this Qur'ân) wherein there is (enough warning) to check (them from evil), (4) Perfect wisdom (this Qur'ân), but (the preaching of) warners benefit them not,

This is one of the miracles (mukjizat) from the prophet Muhammad (sallahualaihiwasallam(s.a.w)) - The Moon Splitting. This is not a story based on legendary mysthical unreal history, infact, it is a story based on the real history itself.  It took us back to the era of the prophet Muhammad (s.a.w). He is the final messenger of Allah (God) and he is the messenger to all mankind sent by Allah. Before this, in the history of mankind, all the prophets sent by Allah is just the messenger to their own races such as Moses to the children of Israel, and so on.

Ibrahim
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
And We sent not a Messenger except with the language of his people, in order that he might make (the Message) clear for them. Then Allâh misleads whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. (4)

So in other words, all races that exist in this world had already sent to them at least one prophet to guide them to the truth. It is in different story for prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.). He is the last prophet sent to the world not only to his tribes of Arabs, indeed he is sent to the whole mankind. To Arab, Persian, Romans, Chinese, Malays and so on.

Al-Anbiya
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

And We have sent you (O Muhammad SAW) not but as a mercy for the 'Alamîn (mankind, jinn and all that exists). (107)

Yet at first the prophet (s.a.w.) himself got a very big job to handle. He has to first spread the words of Allah to his Arabian tribes. And it was a very tough job. Only the poors and slaves that accept his words of truth. The leaders of Arab consistently rejecting him and thus they encourage the people not to follow the prophet. They tortured slaves and poors who were embracing Islam and they did try to kill the prophet. They gave the Muslims a very hard time. They are afraid if the people of Arabia embrace Islam, then their sales of paganic Gods will be vanished and they couldn't regain their power at Makkah.

Once they want the prophet to show them if he is really the messenger sent by Allah. They asked the prophet (s.a.w) if he can split the moon into two. Then prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.) prayed to Allah for help and with Allah will, the moon was split. Watch the video and you can read the story.

This is one of the mukjizat given to the prophet (s.a.w). Yet the greatest mukjizat given by Allah to prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) is not a mukjizat that could be seen and heard by the people in his time. It is a mukjizat that could be seen throughout the world history until now. It is well cared by Allah the Almighty Himself until the Day of Judgment. It is the Holy Quran. Guidance to all mankind. Given as the mercy by the only one Allah. The only one Holy Book. Never been infiltrated nor written by men. A great mukjizat, to success in this world and hereafter. ONLY US TO FOLLOW IT OR NOT.

I bear witness that there is no God but Allah. And Muhammad (s.a.w.) is the Messenger of Allah.

Assalamualaikum.

Kisah Satu Malam

Kauthar (mungkin nama sebenar) : lepak a kisuksa malam ni.

Aku berhenti berfikir seketika. Dalam fikiranku, ada baiknya jugak. Sekali sekala lepak kisuksa(dorm) apa salahnya. Aku pulak duduk kat rumah jarang bersama mereka.

The Scourge ataupun The Sentinal. Namun permainan diteruskan. Arakian, dipertengahan game, di saat aku berjaya kill agak ramai dengan ulti macam syett milik Lich King, salah seorang musuh aku pulak leave mungkin kerana komputernya ter'off'. Kini ia menjadi 4vs4.

Tiba-tiba....cik R menghubungi aku. Bagiku, masalah tadi dah diselesaikan. Kosong. Gelap. Aku berjalan beberapa langkah dan menekan loceng bilik cik R.

Cik R : Dol, tunggu kejap.

Aku akur.

Amin.

He replied, "To offer prayers at their early (very first) stated times." 'Abdullah (Radhiallah hu Taala anhu) asked, "What is the next (in goodness)?" The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said, "To be good and dutiful to one's parents." 'Abdullah (Radhiallah hu Taala anhu) asked, "What is the next (in goodness)?" The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said, "To participate in Jihad for Allah's Cause." 'Abdullah (Radhiallah hu Taala anhu) added, "The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) narrated to me these three things, and if I had asked more, he would have told me more." ' "

Hadith 8.2         Narrated by Abu Huraira (Radhiallah hu Taala anhu)

A man came to Allah's Apostle (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) and said, "O Allah's Apostle (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam)! Who is more entitled to be treated with the best companionship by me?" The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said, "Your mother." The man said. "Who is next?" The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said, "Your mother." The man further said, "Who is next?" The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said, "Your mother." The man asked for the fourth time, "Who is next?" The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said, "Your father."

3.         The Permission of one's Parents

Hadith 8.3         Narrated by Abdullah bin Amr (Radhiallah hu Taala anhu)

A man said to the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam), "Shall I participate in Jihad?" The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said,"Are your parents living?" The man said, "Yes." the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said, "Do Jihad for their benefit."

Please keep forwarding this "Hadith" to all ... Because the Prophet (sallallaahu  alayhi  wa  sallam) said: "Pass on knowledge from  me even if it is only one Verse".

Science and Islam

science n islam

there is no doubt that science and technology that we see today originates by muslims. long time ago, islam conquered 2/3 of the globe, including asia, europe, australia, making islam the fastest spreading religion in the world. and why is this? because islam is the way of life. islam provides u guidance, islam gives u calm and serenity, islam teaches u peace and endless love, there is no force in islam and above all, islam is the religion of the Creator. the guidance of islam is complete, absolute and seamless. a heart of a disbeliever will never want to accept this or find this to be very irritating and baloney because they are happy with the way their life is. full of worldly temptation, aligned with the phrase 'we only live once', they say islam are fanatics and obsessed with our religion, while they become ignorant and fooled by the ghuzwatul fikr. back to the point, islam was once on the peak, where millions of people saw islam as the truth in life. it was on that great empire where muslim were highly respected by other religion. the kafir women try to imitate and follow the way muslimah dressed as what we are now trying to follow the western style. remember the dutch lady brand? the lady wears a scarf, an influence of islam.

islam was high above the sky, dominating knowledge, intelligence, economy and political aspects. in the khulafa arrashidin empire, books were everywhere. mosques stood side by side with libraries. it is known that too many students wanted to learn medicine that they needed to be shortlisted. it is also known that the empire was rich and none of the people deserved to be given zakat. money was given freely to anybody wishing to use the money to get marry. it was in this empire alkhawarizmi, avicenna (ibn sina), ibn rushd and many other islamic thinkers were spreading knowledge. ever thought of these words?
algebra, algorithm, alkali. the words used by us today as the language of modern science. the words themselves are arabic with the prefix al-.. note that, without algebra (which comes from the word aljabbar) there is no modern mathematics and physics..without algorithm, there's no computer technology..without alkali, alkenes, alkanes or alkynes, there's no chemistry. also, we invented the arithmatic calculation using the arabic numbers, while the europian before 12th century still uses the roman number. how could u do arithmetic calculation using those numbers (I, II, III, IV....). Only after soughting ideas from islamic knowledge, they change the numbering system. plus, take a closer look at the number 2 and 3. u will see the resemblence with the arabic number if u rotate 2 and 3 clockwise, 90 degrees. the number 0, 1 and 9 are obviously the same. avicenna, who wrote 'The Cannon of Medicine' (alqanun alfittib), wrote a book that are widely used and translated to many languages around the world. the idea of airplane technology by Wright brothers that we look upon are actually initiated earlier by the muslim. isaac newton was also not the first to realise gravity theory.we did..

from 12th to 17th century, the Europians refer to the advanced and prevalence knowledge of the Arabs, and brought them to their time of renaissance. and do we ever wonder why the empire of islam vanished? why the hall of fame does not include Arabians? why islam nowadays are reflected by the image of terrorist?...
learning history of islam will make u understand. learning history of islam will make us realise that we are enclosed by The System created via zionists' propaganda. the way we think. the way we live our life. the way we raise our children. the way we adore the west. the way we forget our Creator.

some said.if islam really is the true religion.then y does islam is not as strong as before. the answer is...
because muslims nowadays neglect their priority. because we forget about the after-life, because we do not guide ourselves as stated by the Quran, the words from Allah. when islam was on the peak, the muslims devoted themselves more to the afterlife rather than this temporary life, and Allah blessed them with victory.

P/S : This is not written by me. I just took it from my friend's blog. With Permission. Thanks again, friend. ^^
